Champ von Coesfeld ia a stunning 10-11 month old German Shepherd. He's a gentle soul who needs a quiet adult home with a canine buddy (or two) to give him more confidence to be his happy self. Champ reminds us of a fawn; he approaches new people slowly. He isn't a dog who will instantly jump in your lap and give you kisses, but he will follow you around and be right there next to you. With a little time he transforms into his sweet and playful self; he'll gaze fondly into your eyes and nudge your hand to win more petting. Walking him on leash is a dream, he'll check in with you, and press into you.  He has a medium energy level and will show you a perfect Sit if you have treats to offer.  In playgroups, Champ is a champ! He loves other dogs and is so happy to run and play with his canine friends --  he just lights up around dogs and has a gentle playing style. He also passed cat testing.
